3 Injured in 2-Vehicle Crash near Alexandria

A two-vehicle crash on Highway 27 in LaGrand Township resulted in three people being taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The incident occurred at approximately 9:50 p.m. on Wednesday when two drivers, traveling west on Highway 27, collided in a rear-end crash. James Patrick Linnan, 54, of Rosemount, was driving a 2021 Toyota Avalon and making a left turn onto Archie Drive when the collision happened.

Linnan and his two 16-year-old female passengers from Rosemount were injured and taken to Alomere Health in Alexandria. All individuals involved in the crash were wearing seat belts, and the Ford Explorer's airbag was deployed.

The Douglas County Sheriff's Office and North Memorial Ambulance responded to the scene.
