Broad Daylight Burglaries in Gilford
Detectives are seeking information regarding a series of burglaries in Gilford over the past week.
According to Detective Sergeant Stewart, on Monday, October 13, a van in the Clare Road area was broken into at approximately 9am, with tools worth around £1,500 stolen.
At 11am, two further reports were received that entry had been gained to a garage and a shed in the nearby Ballymacanallen Road area. A number of items were disturbed, however nothing was taken.
On Tuesday, October 14, at around 11am, another garage in the Ballymacanallen Road area was broken into, resulting in the theft of gardening equipment. The final incident occurred on Wednesday, October 14, at 4:35pm, when a property on Banbridge Road was burgled.
