The graphic novel "Beneath the Trees Where Nobody Sees" is being adapted into a storytelling game where players take on the role of animals trying to protect their dark secrets.
Written and illustrated by Patrick Hovarth, the graphic novel follows Samantha Strong, a murderous bear living in the town of Woodbury, and has been described as "Dexter meets Arthur".
The game, which has launched on Kickstarter, features beautiful artwork and allows 1-6 players to take on the role of different citizens in Woodbury, such as Cybil Montgomery the Parakeet Palm Reader or Tommy Turnbuckle the turtle postman.
The kickstarter features all kinds of beautiful artwork, as you'd expect from a children's book, with all of the off-putting and sick detail of murder and dismemberment.
Author's summary: A storytelling game based on the comic "Beneath the Tree Where Nobody Sees" is announced.
