Historic Athens Porchfest Grows to 260 Performances
This year’s Historic Athens Porchfest is slated to be the biggest yet, with over 260 performers across seven neighborhoods: Boulevard, Buena Vista, Cobbham, Newtown, Normaltown, Pulaski Heights, and Reese-Hancock.
The event will take place on Sunday, Oct. 19 from 1–8 p.m. October is a special time in Athens, with
October is when Athens truly shines, and a plethora of events to choose from, including Porchfest and Wild Rumpus.
The leaves are changing along the Boulevard walk, creating a beautiful backdrop for the festivities. With three consecutive weekends of events, Athenians have a lot to look forward to.
