Australia Post Announces Christmas Sending Dates
Australia Post has announced the final sending dates for Christmas gifts and cards, urging customers to plan ahead to ensure timely deliveries by December 25.
- For metro areas:
- Parcel Post: December 22 (same-state) and December 19 (interstate)
- Express Post: December 23
- For Christmas letters and cards:
- Same-state: December 18
- Interstate: December 16
- For international deliveries (Economy Air):
- Between November 21 and December 5, depending on the destination
Customers sending to or from Western Australia, the Northern Territory, Tasmania, or regional and remote areas should allow extra days for delivery.
Australia Post encourages customers to plan early to ensure deliveries arrive by December 25.
