SAJBD Joins Global Jewish Communities in Prayers for Hostages' Safe Return
The South African Jewish Board of Deputies (SAJBD) has expressed its support for Jewish communities worldwide in praying for the safe return of hostages and a peace deal.
The SAJBD has welcomed the newly brokered peace deal, led by the USA and Arab Nations, aimed at releasing Israeli hostages and ending the prolonged war.
We especially applaud the courageous world leaders who have chosen the path of dialogue, negotiation and diplomacy over rhetoric and hate.
The SAJBD has remained committed to advocating for a sustainable peace, the immediate release of hostages, and a permanent ceasefire that ensures Israel's security since the terror attacks of October 7, 2023.
