California's CO2 Pipeline Bill Signed
Governor Newsom has signed SB 614, a bill that creates a pathway to lift the state's moratorium on CO2 pipelines.
"The state's focus on carbon capture is a false climate solution that only locks us into the same oil dependence that Trump wants,"
said Ileana Navarro, Policy Associate, Central California Environmental Justice Network. Environmental and public health groups have expressed concerns about the potential risks of lifting the moratorium.
