Rivian's Electric Van Leads Sales Charts
Rivian's electric delivery van is currently at the top of the sales charts, with the Chevrolet BrightDrop closely following.
According to estimates from Cox Automotive, the Rivian Commercial Van (RCV) has outsold Rivian's R1T pickup truck in the United States after the first three quarters.
- In the third quarter of this year, Rivian sold 2,639 vans, a 41.5% decrease compared to the same period last year.
- However, this is still 261 more units than the R1T sold during the same period.
- From January to September, the RCV500 and RCV700 sold a combined 6,809 units, a 24.6% decrease year-over-year, but 952 units more than the R1T.
Rivian's electric delivery van is proving to be a hit in the United States, relatively speaking.
