Dana Elementary honors September 2025 students of the month
Wyoming Valley West’s Dana Elementary Center recognized its September students of the month.
Each grade level selects one student a month who displays excellent character, outstanding behavior, positive attitude towards others/learning, good citizenship, responsibility and respect to peers and teachers.
Each student was rewarded with an Applebee’s dinner, a Dana Dollar to exchange for a tangible reward, a certificate of achievement and a gold medal.

- Vyla Kerpovich, third grade
- Jeanevieve Huntsinger, fourth grade
- Ava Grymko, fifth grade
Students were joined by Kristen Masiello, teacher, and Maylan Nicholson, school counselor.
