Aziz Ansari plays Arj, a character living out of his car, which creates an immediate dissonance due to Ansari's known wealth and light presence as a stand-up comedian.
Ansari's character experiences economic distress, doing odd jobs and gig-economy chores, but seems more irritably inconvenienced than weary.
