Israeli Airstrikes in Lebanon
Despite a ceasefire, Israeli airstrikes killed 1 and injured 7 in Lebanon, according to Lebanese authorities.
The Israeli army launched 12 airstrikes in southern and eastern Lebanon, targeting areas such as Bnaafoul, Khirbet Dweir, and the Nabatieh district.
- Sidon and Marjayoun districts in southern Lebanon were targeted.
- Baalbek in the east was also hit by Israeli airstrikes.
Lebanon will gradually increase the number of troops deployed south of the Litani River to 10,000 by the end of 2025, says President Aoun.
An Israeli drone hit the town of Blida in the Marjayoun district while residents were harvesting olives.
