Santa Teresa Man Accused of Shooting Family Member
A Santa Teresa man, Kevin Marin, has been charged with Aggravated Battery against a Household Member (Deadly Weapon) and Attempt to Commit a Felony.
According to court documents, when police arrived at the scene, they found three semi-automatic rifle bullet casings in Marin's bedroom, a bloody shoe impression, and blood droplets under a Jeep Wrangler in the driveway.
Marin's family members reported hearing the victim, a fellow family member, scream from another room in the house. They found the victim bleeding from her waist and stomach areas, and quickly rushed her to the hospital.
Additionally, family members saw Marin sitting on the couch. The victim was shot 11 times.
