Irish Author Speaks Out on Israeli Detention
A young Irish woman, author Naoise Dolan, has shared her experience in Israeli detention after being intercepted by Israeli forces on a flotilla delivering aid.
They beat people, they gave people black eyes. They pulled people by their hair.
Dolan described the conditions she witnessed, stating that two things saddened and horrified her the most: a giant Israeli flag with a poster of a road in Gaza rendered to rubble, and a caption in Arabic that read "the new Gaza".
