BHS Senior Aiming to Become a Pilot
Maqueria Murray, a senior at Baldwin High, is focusing on becoming an airplane pilot after her studies.
As an excellent student, one of her favorite classes is the aviation class, where she and other students learn about unmanned aircraft called drones, taught by Roberto Hornung-Filho.
“He’s teaching us things about aviation that most people don’t know,”
Murray said in a recent interview at the Baldwin County Regional Airport terminal. She finds this interesting as she wants to become a pilot and fly a large cargo airplane for United Parcel Service (UPS).
