Football: Backfield Tandem Pushes Alexandria by Robbinsdale Armstrong
Brody Berg and Jackson Waltzing combined for 251 scrimmage yards and five touchdowns on Wednesday, Oct. 17.
The Alexandria running back tandem is ready for the playoffs to commence. Berg and Waltzing combined for 228 of the team’s 268 rushing yards, coasting by Robbinsdale Armstrong 42-12 on Wednesday, Oct. 15.
Berg broke off a team-long 49-yard run in the game, part of a three-touchdown effort on the ground, running 17 times for 185 yards with three scores.
He put the Cardinals on the board in the first quarter with a 15-yard run, as No. 5-ranked Alexandria scored the first 22 points of the game.
