Suspect Sought in Bayside Burglaries
Police from the 111th Precinct in Bayside are searching for a burglar who targeted three homes in broad daylight over three days.
The suspect's crime spree began on the 8th at around 3:00 p.m., when he entered a residence near 210th Place and 29th Avenue by forcing open a window.
- Stole jewelry and approximately $1,000 in cash
- Fled in an unknown direction
The following day, the burglar was caught on video surveillance walking up to a home near 38th Avenue and the Clearview Expressway service road, carrying a pizza box, just before noon.
Acting as a pizza deliveryman in at least one of the break-ins
