The UK government has rolled out the first digital ID as part of its plan to digitalise almost every form of ID in the country.
The new digital ID, dubbed "Britcards", aims to tackle illegal immigration and will be a required document for citizens to live and work in the UK.
The digital veteran ID cards were presented at an event at the Tower of London, where Beefeaters showed off their new digital IDs.
A full consultation on the digital ID cards was announced last month, on 26 September.
