Albany County is celebrating the reopening of Pad Thai Noodle, a family-owned business in Colonie, after an explosion destroyed the building last year.
A grand reopening ceremony was held on Thursday, attended by Albany County Executive Dan McCoy and David Johnson of Professional Fire Restoration, which rebuilt the restaurant.
The building on Everett Road had to be demolished after a gas explosion and fire in April 2024. The family first opened the restaurant in 2016.
No statement from the family or officials is available at this time.
