Philly Firefighter Found Dead in Holmesburg
A Philadelphia firefighter, Antonio Rodriguez, was found dead in a home in Holmesburg. He was a member of The Philadelphia Fire Department for 18 years.
Police responded to a property on the 4700 block of Shelmire Avenue just before 4 a.m. after a 27-year-old man reported an incident inside the home.
- Officers found the victim, a 56-year-old man, extremely injured inside the home.
- The victim was taken to a nearby hospital and pronounced dead.
- A relative of the victim has been arrested in connection with the case.
Authorities are investigating the death of a Philadelphia firefighter.
