Transfer of Allahabad High Court Judges
The Central government has notified the transfer of two Allahabad High Court judges to other High Courts.
Justice Sanjay Kumar Singh has been transferred to Patna High Court, while Justice Donadi Ramesh has been transferred to Andhra Pradesh High Court.
The Supreme Court Collegium had recommended these transfers in August, but the transfer of Justice Rohit Ranjan Agarwal to Calcutta High Court has not been notified yet.
The Allahabad High Court currently has a working strength of 110 judges, which will decrease to 108 after the transfers, against the sanctioned strength of 160 judges.
