Boston Judge Sets Deadline for ICE to Justify Detention
A federal judge in Boston has given immigration officials a deadline to justify holding a 13-year-old boy from Everett.
The boy was detained by ICE agents after being picked up by Everett police last week and was transferred to Virginia without his family or lawyer being notified.
An attorney for the boy's family says ICE transferred him to Virginia last week without his family, lawyer or a court knowing.
The judge's deadline for ICE to justify the detention is by the end of the day.
